Job summary

Vestas Wind Systems is hiring a Service Technician to perform on-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines across the region. You will work in teams of two or more, repair turbines, and resolve faults to ensure reliable operation.

You will analyze error messages, implement modifications for performance improvements, and document work digitally. The role requires vocational training in electrical/electronic/mechatronics fields, German and English skills, and a valid Class B license.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or a comparable technical qualification.
• Very good German and good English skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, SAP experience
• Valid Class B driver's license; BE may be supported.

Responsibilities

• On-site servicing and maintenance to ensure wind turbines operate reliably.
• Work in a team of at least two to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages and identify root causes.
• Apply modification measures to enhance turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Your responsibilities - here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification
• Your place of work will vary within your region - you will usually be home again in the evening
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver's licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
