Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) for Wind Turbines to support on-site servicing in your region. You will work in a two-person team to ensure turbines operate reliably and safely.

Based in Germany, the role involves fault analysis, implementing performance improvements, and documenting work digitally. You should have vocational training in electrical/electronic/mechatronics fields and be comfortable with SAP, MS Office, and iOS apps.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in electrical engineering or comparable technical qualification.
• Willing to work regionally with home return in the evening.
• Experience with SAP or MS Office and iOS apps is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site servicing and maintenance to keep turbines operating reliably.
• Work as part of a two-person team to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages to identify root causes.
• Implement modification measures to improve turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Your responsibilities - here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance

• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults

• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause

• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance

• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification

• Your place of work will vary within your region - you will usually be home again in the evening

• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP

• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level

• You have a valid Class B driver's licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)

• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
