Zusammenfassung

Vestas is looking for a Service Technician (m/f/d) to join our Würzburg team. You will perform on-site servicing and maintenance to keep wind turbines operating reliably and safely.

As part of a two-person team, you will travel within Germany during the week, repair turbines, diagnose faults, and document work digitally. A vocational qualification in electrical engineering or related fields, plus a Class B license, are required; training through the Vestas Academy is provided.

Qualifikationen

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or a comparable technical qualification.
• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week and return home on weekends.
• Familiarity with Microsoft and iOS Apps; SAP experience is a plus.
• You hold a valid Class B driver’s license and can operate safely at heights.

• Carry out on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure wind turbines operate reliably.
• Work as part of a small team to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyse electronic and mechanical messages to identify causes and implement fixes.
• Perform modification measures to improve turbine performance and document work digitally.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification
• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver’s licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
