Vestas Wind Systems in Heide, Germany, is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) to perform on-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines. You will work in a small team to repair turbines, diagnose faults, and implement improvements, ensuring reliable operation.

You will document your work digitally and collaborate with colleagues while traveling across Germany during the work week. The role offers training, qualification as an electrician, and a competitive IG Metall-aligned package.

Formación

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics or energy and building technology.
• Willing to travel within Germany during the week; weekends at home.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps; SAP experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working at heights and able to operate safely above ground level.
• Valid Class B driver's license (BE support may be available).
• Very good German and good English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure turbine reliability.
• Work in a team of at least two people to repair turbines and fix faults.
• Analyse error messages and identify root causes.
• Implement modification measures to improve turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Your responsibilities - here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics or energy and building technology
• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver's licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
