Vestas Wind Systems is hiring a Service Technician (m/f/d) for on-site turbine servicing in Germany. The role involves traveling within Germany, working in teams, diagnosing faults, and implementing improvements to performance.

Comprehensive onboarding and Vestas Academy training are part of the development path. The position offers a permanent contract, a friendly team culture, and strong emphasis on work-life balance with generous vacation and sabbatical options.

Competenze

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics or energy and building technology.
• Willing to travel within Germany during the week; return home at weekends.
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows and iOS apps; SAP experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working at heights and safe operation above ground level.
• Valid Class B driver’s license (Class BE support possible).
• Very good German and good English skills.

Your responsibilities - here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics or energy and building technology
• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver's licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
