Vestas Wind Systems in Ramsdorf is seeking a Service Technician to service wind turbines on-site and work in two-person teams to ensure reliable operation. You will diagnose faults, implement modifications, and document work digitally, using SAP and familiar with Microsoft and iOS apps.

The role requires a technical vocational background and willingness to travel regionally, with a home-base return each evening.

Competenze

• Completion of vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy or building technology or a comparable technical qualification.
• Willingness to work regionally with home base in the evening.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS apps; SAP experience is a plus.

Your responsibilities - here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification
• Your place of work will vary within your region - you will usually be home again in the evening
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver's licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
