Vestas is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines, ensuring reliable operation across sites in Germany. You will work in a two-person team to repair and diagnose faults, analyse errors, implement performance improvements, and document work digitally.

The role emphasizes travel within Germany during the week, with home weekends, and offers comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, and development through the Vestas Academy in a future-oriented

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics or energy/building technology.
• Willingness to travel within Germany during the week and return home at weekends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software and iOS apps; SAP experience is a plus.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics or energy and building technology
• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver’s licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
