Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician to service wind turbines on-site across the region. You will work in a small team to diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and ensure reliable turbine operation using modern tools.

Required are vocational training in electrical/electronics/mechatronics, comfort with heights, and German language skills. A Class B driver's license is essential; SAP familiarity is a plus. You will usually be home in the evenings.

• Broad knowledge of electrical/electronic/mechatronic systems.
• Willingness to work at heights and in variable environments.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and turbine fault analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines.
• Work within a team to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and identify causes.
• Carry out modification measures to improve turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a straightforward way.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification
• Your place of work will vary within your region – you will usually be home again in the evening
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver’s licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
