Job summary

Vestas Wind Systems is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) for Wind Turbines HV in the Greifswald region. The role focuses on on-site servicing, repair of turbines in a team, and fault analysis to optimize performance.

You will work with robust equipment and best-practice safety standards, with a strong emphasis on documentation and continuous training through the Vestas Academy. The position includes extensive onboarding and a clear career path.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or energy/building technology.
• German B2 and good English skills.
• Willingness to work regionally with on-site visits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure wind turbines operate reliably.
• Work as part of a two-person team to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and identify root causes.
• Carry out modifications to improve turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple, efficient way.

Your responsibilities - here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance

• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults

• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause

• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance

• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or energy and building technology

• Your place of work will vary within your region - you will usually be home again in the evening

• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP

• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level

• You have a valid Class B driver's licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)

• Very good German (B2) and good English skills round off your profile
