Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site servicing of wind turbines and maintain reliability. You’ll work in a team, diagnose faults, and implement modifications to improve performance.

Expect a role requiring good German and English skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to travel within your region. A comprehensive onboarding and opportunities for professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in electrical engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Willing to travel within your region and return home in the evening.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps; SAP experience is a plus.
• Valid Class B driver’s license; BE support may be available.
• Very good German and good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure wind turbines operate reliably.
• Work in a team to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages to identify root causes.
• Carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple, efficient way.

Your responsibilities –here'swhere you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbinesoperatereliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance

• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults

• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accuratelyidentifythe cause

• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance

• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification

• Your place of work will vary within your region – you will usually be home again in the evening

• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP

• You are comfortable working at heights and canoperatesafely above ground level

• You have avalid Class B driver’s licence(financial support forClassBE may be available)

• Very goodGerman and good English skills round off your profile
