Job summary

Vestas Dresden area is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) for wind turbines HV to join our on-site team across the region. You will perform on-site servicing and maintenance, ensuring reliability and safety.

You will work in a two-person team, repair turbines, analyze error messages, implement modification measures and document work digitally. A vocational training in electrical/electronics/mechatronics is required, along with German B2 and English skills.

Qualifications

• HV wind technician with vocational training in electrical/electronic/mechatronic fields
• Experience or ability to work at heights and safety procedures
• Driver's license class B; willingness for regional travel

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities - here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance

• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults

• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause

• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance

• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or energy and building technology
• Your place of work will vary within your region - you will usually be home again in the evening

• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP

• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level

• You have a valid Class B driver's licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)

• Very good German (B2) and good English skills round off your profile
