Vestas Wind Systems is seeking a Service Technician to join our nationwide field team in Germany. The role involves traveling across Germany to service and repair wind turbines, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will participate in onboarding and training at the Vestas Academy and gain qualifications as an electrician (DIN VDE 0105-100). Ideal candidates hold vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering, a valid B driving license, and are fluent in

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering.
• Good German language skills and good English language skills.

Responsabilités

• Travel across Germany during the week, returning home on weekends.
• Replace and repair main/large components of wind turbines as part of a team.
• Coordinate with external service providers and use telescopic mobile cranes and transport firms.
• Document work digitally in a simple, efficient way.

Your responsibilities - here's where you can get involved!

• During the working week, you will be deployed throughout Germany and work in flexible service teams of around seven technicians


• Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for replacing and repairing the main/large components of wind turbines


• Your work will also involve collaborating with external service providers, e.g. for the use of telescopic mobile cranes and transport companies


• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend


• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mecanical enginieering


• You can prepare and document technical reports independently


• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP


• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level


• You have a driving licence B


• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
