Vestas Wind Systems is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) in Niebull, Germany. You will perform on-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines, ensuring reliability and safety, and collaborate in a small team.

You hold vocational training in electrical engineering or related fields, are comfortable with heights, travel within Germany, and speak German with good English. Vestas offers onboarding, training, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• German language skills: very good; English: good.
• Willing to travel within Germany during the week; back home on weekends.
• Vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics or energy/building technology.
• Comfortable working at heights; safety awareness.
• Valid Class B driver’s license; potential support for BE license.

Responsabilités

• Carry out on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure wind turbines operate reliably.
• Work in a team (at least two people) to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages and identify root causes.
• Perform modification measures to enhance turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Your responsibilities - here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance


• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults


• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause


• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance

Your profile - what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics or energy and building technology


• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend


• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP


• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level


• You have a valid Class B driver's licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)


• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
