Job summary

NAXCON GmbH, a leading German engineering and IT service provider, seeks a Service Owner IT-Security to drive end-to-end IT security services in Düsseldorf. You will define the service portfolio, oversee delivery models, and manage budgets while ensuring compliance with SLAs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• A college degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification with a strong focus on IT security
• Several years of professional experience in the IT security field, ideally in a leadership role
• Very good knowledge of IT service management (service lifecycle, service design, service operations, continual service improvement)
• In-depth understanding of modern IT security architectures, security controls, and operating models (e.g., Detection & Response, Infrastructure Protection, IAM, Security Engineering)
• Experience in provider, contract, and SLA management, as well as in managing external service providers
• Experience in budget, cost, and performance management for IT services
• Excellent knowledge of common frameworks and standards (e.g., ITIL v3/v4, ISO 20000; ISO 2701 is desirable)

Responsibilities

• End-to-end responsibility for IT security services across the full service lifecycle (strategy to continuous improvement).
• Define and manage the IT security service portfolio, roadmaps, scope, and delivery model.
• Ensure service quality, availability, performance, costs, and compliance with SLAs.
• Oversee internal/external providers, monitor performance, handle escalations, optimize.
• Prioritize requirements within demand and service portfolio management.
• Budget responsibility for IT security services, including costs and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in IT security.
• Establish and track KPIs measuring performance, maturity, and customer satisfaction.
• Initiate measures for continuous improvement of IT security services.

Tasks:

• End-to-end responsibility for defined IT security services throughout the entire service lifecycle (strategy, design, transition, operations, continuous improvement)
• Defining, developing, and managing the assigned IT security service portfolio, including the service roadmap, scope of services, and delivery model
• Responsibility for service quality, availability, performance, costs, and compliance in accordance with agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs)
• Management and technical oversight of internal and external service providers, including performance monitoring, escalation management, and continuous optimization
• Management and prioritization of requirements within the framework of demand and service portfolio management
• Budget responsibility for the assigned IT security services, including costs, licensing, and profitability management
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies as well as regulatory and legal requirements in the IT security environment
• Establishing and tracking KPIs to measure service performance, service maturity, and customer satisfaction
• Initiating and implementing measures for the continuous improvement of IT security services
