Service Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of repair and calibration technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Service Management: Oversee the repair and calibration processes, ensuring timely (OTD) and accurate service delivery to meet customer expectations.
- Service Revenue: Responsible for weekly/monthly revenue forecast and ensuring forecasting accuracy and revenue delivered.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure all services meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring effective problem resolution.
- Employee Engagement: Enhance employee engagement by fostering open communication and recognizing contributions to drive motivation and retention; conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Compliance: Ensure all repair and calibration activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements (e.g., ISO17025).
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory to support repair and calibration activities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, equipment maintenance, and quality control procedures.
- Safety: Promote and enforce a safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the repair and calibration of electrical equipment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, calibration standards, and repair techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using service management software and tools.
- German language is a must.
