Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d) – HSBC
Location: Düsseldorf & Frankfurt, Germany

In this role you will
- Expand and increase the existing customer portfolio and acquire new GTS customers
- Deliver superior customer service jointly with outsourced GTS services teams in line with being the Leading International Trade Finance Bank
- Support local HSBC Relationship Managers and stakeholders and engage closely with coverage, risk and all critical support functions
- Build an effective and professional team through training, coaching, guidance and support
- Demonstrate a joined‑up approach with other bank stakeholders
- Ensure that GTS operates according to the Operational Guidelines, credit policy and the international product authorisation under HBCE
You should apply if you have
- Deep GTS product understanding: supply chain, receivables finance, traditional trade (letters of credit, import/export finance) and guarantees
- Long‑standing banking experience with the appropriate BA or MA grade plus international experience
- Proven track record on distribution capabilities and good relationships with the local FIG community (public entities, banks, insurance, brokers)
- Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions and extensive knowledge of market trends, competitive environment and regulatory landscape
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Detailed knowledge of Financial Crime Risk and Credit Risk including risk mitigation techniques
- Independent, precise and structured way of working and high social and teamwork competence
- Very good English and German language skills and strong communication abilities
