(Senior) Sales Manager Governmental Softwaresolutions (m/f/d)

As Sales Manager Governmental Software Solutions (m/f/d) you will take on a key role in our sales team and serve as the first point of contact for our team, customers, and stakeholders in the area of new software solutions. Together with our excellent team, which currently consists of six members, you will play a decisive role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology and opening up new sales markets.

You will work closely with stakeholders from marketing, product management, production, and supply chain management to drive revenue growth in the international government sector. By developing and implementing new sales strategies for software solutions, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to become the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned systems.

What is your Day to Day Mission
  • Identify and acquire potential government customers to promote our software solutions and services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries from customers within the assigned region.
  • Build strategic alliances in the government and defense sector to optimally position our product portfolio with key stakeholders.
  • Drive business development and new customer acquisition through continuous market and country analyses as well as leveraging your network of contacts.
  • Establish and maintain networks with procurement organizations (B2G) in the assigned markets.
  • Take responsibility for key account management and support customers in the designated regions.
  • Carry out daily sales activities such as maintaining the CRM system and preparing proposals.
  • Create product-specific marketing materials in close collaboration with the marketing department.
  • Actively monitor market and competitive developments.
  • Plan and execute relevant sales promotion activities, such as live demonstrations.
What you bring to the team
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • You bring at least 3–5 years of experience in software sales and business development, ideally in the areas of UAVs, AI, software‑defined defense, and military procurement. Experience with national and international public procurement processes is highly desirable.
  • You possess a solid understanding of military software systems, IT, and digital management structures, particularly software‑ and AI‑based solutions.
  • You have a proven track record in sales and business development.
  • You are an excellent negotiator with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • You can confidently navigate complex procurement and regulatory processes.
  • You have experience in project management, proposal development, and contract management for software solutions.
  • You are fluent in both German and English.
