Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned procurement leader to manage end-to-end execution for NSSS commodities and projects. You will drive supplier performance, ensure on-time delivery, and govern the full purchase order lifecycle from fabrication through final delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field, and 5+ years in procurement or program management, with international project exposure and travel up to 30%.

Jobbeschreibung

• Lead end-to-end procurement execution for assigned NSSS commodities or projects
• Lead execution of NSSS component delivery across APx domestic and international projects
• Ensure suppliers deliver according to schedule, quality, and cost goals
• Ensure delivery of purchase order scope, including fabrication, testing, documentation, and shipment
• Guide adherence to project schedules, milestones, and commitments
• Provide regular status updates to partners
• Manage supplier delivery performance, schedule adherence, and readiness
• Lead supplier execution schedules, reviews, and recovery planning
• Ensure supplier readiness and prioritization of critical deliveries
• Coordinate with Supplier Performance Engineering and Supplier Quality on oversight and issue resolution
• Manage procurement risks and guide mitigation and recovery plans
• Communicate risks affecting project delivery
• Support RFQ development and supplier selection
• Ensure purchase requisitions are complete, aligned, and executable
• Lead post-purchase-order execution, including kickoff, submittals, and manufacturing understanding
• Ensure completion of quality documentation and final delivery
• Support change management and purchase order adjustments
• Report to the Manager, Newington Supply Chain

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or program management
• 5+ years of experience with procurement lifecycle and supplier execution
• Travel expectations of 20% to 30% of the time
• Applicants must meet applicable United States and, where relevant, other-country export control requirements
