Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Equipment Supply/ FMSE group leader to ensure safe and timely delivery of fuel equipment. You will manage Equipment Supply Managers, interface with Natrium Fuel Supply & Development on core components and fuel logistics, and oversee the HALEU facility contract.

You will coordinate with Finance, Legal, Procurement, Quality, and Facilities to ensure compliance and use project-management tools for cost, schedule, and resources. Travel 25–50% is expected.

• Manage the Fuel and Material Supplied Equipment (FMSE) Group supporting safe and timely delivery of equipment for the Natrium fuel supply.
• Act as line manager for Equipment Supply Managers assigned to the FMSE group.
• Interface with Natrium Fuel Supply & Development on reactor core components, raw materials, non-fuel assemblies, prototypic fuel-development components, and fuel supply logistics.
• Support and oversee the HALEU facility contract.
• Ensure supplier performance management and oversight.
• Monitor the fuel equipment supply chain to meet cost, schedule, quality, and safety metrics.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Procurement, Quality, and Facilities to ensure procedural and process compliance.
• Ensure Equipment Supply Managers use project-management tools for supplier cost, schedule, submittal, and resource oversight.
• Collaborate with supplier management to maintain contractual and technical direction fidelity.
• Review statements of work and project planning for supplier-project execution.
• Oversee supplier selection activities.
• Maintain awareness of supplier technical capabilities, organizational changes, and relationships for feedback to Natrium.

Requirements

• Technical degree preferably in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems, or civil engineering required.
• 10-20 years’ experience in supplier interaction.
• 3-5 years of management experience in related field preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in management of suppliers in design and manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated skills in supporting the contractual and commercial aspects of customer/supplier relationships.
• Previous experience in technical interface with engineering groups for review and input to supplier activities.
• Required experience with project controls and organization along with tools and processes to support the same.
• Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, and nuclear engineering disciplines and how they interrelate.
• Strong communication skills desired.
• Ability to fulfill physical job functions, with or without accommodation, including sitting/standing for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control, and prolonged repetitive work.
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in conditions involving stairs, typing/keyboard, and standard and/or sitting environments for more than 8 hours per day.
• Willingness and ability to travel 25%-50% or more.
• U.S. citizens or nationals, asylees, refugees, and lawful permanent residents are identified for export-control review; foreign nationals are evaluated in accordance with U.S. Government export-control requirements.
