Redstone Commodity Search are working with a fast-growing commodities trading organisation active across physical and financial markets. They are seeking a Middle Office Analyst to take ownership of trade capture, exposure reporting, and daily P&L validation across a dynamic and evolving trading environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with traders, risk, finance, and operations teams, supporting system enhancements, improving data processes, and ensuring accurate reporting across the trade lifecycle. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset suited to a high-paced, international commodities platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade Capture: Accurately record physical and financial trades (swaps, futures, options) and validate data integrity across systems.
• Exposure & Hedging: Monitor exposure across pricing mechanisms and support appropriate hedging strategies, including FX futures execution.
• P&L & Risk Reporting: Produce and validate daily P&L, price/position risk reports, and provide explanations for material movements.
• Margin & Clearing Management: Manage daily margin calls, reconcile clearing accounts, and optimise initial margin and credit line usage.
• Operational Support: Support trade lifecycle processes, including options/futures/swaps execution, payment reconciliation, and CTRM (Enuit) system development.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Relevant Background: Degree in finance/economics/accounting or equivalent experience within commodity trading operations, middle office, or risk.
• Technical Capability: Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel; SQL and Python highly desirable for data process enhancement.
• Industry Experience: Hands-on involvement in trade capture, P&L/risk reporting, or operational support functions in a trading environment.
• Organisational Strength: Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise critical tasks in a fast-paced setting.
