Job summary

Hunter Philips Executive Search is assisting a well-funded renewable energy developer expanding across Germany to recruit a Grid Connection Manager for onshore wind projects. You will own grid connection activities from early development through delivery across a substantial project pipeline.

You will coordinate with DSOs/TSOs, review connection studies, and help design MV/HV concepts, collaborating with developers, engineers and external consultants.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in grid connection, electrical infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of MV/HV electrical systems and grid connection processes.
• Experience with network operators and external stakeholders is advantageous.
• Knowledge of German grid codes (e.g. VDE-AR-N 4110/4120) would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent German with a good level of English.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Grid Connection Manager to support the delivery of onshore wind projects. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative technical team where you'll take ownership of grid connection activities from early-stage development through to project delivery, working on a significant pipeline of projects.
