Job summary

DataGuard, headquartered in Munich with offices across Europe, is expanding its outbound sales motion. We are seeking ambitious Senior Business Development Representatives to help build our pipeline from the ground up, partnering with Account Executives, Marketing and Revenue Operations to generate opportunities.

You will influence our approach to pipeline, test new ideas, and shape a scalable sales development function in a fast-growing security and compliance tech company.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a BDR/ SDR/ Inside Sales or similar customer-facing commercial role.
• Confidence engaging with prospects and building meaningful business conversations.
• Curiosity, coachability and a genuine interest in SaaS, technology and modern sales.
• A structured, proactive working style with a strong sense of ownership.
• Resilience, ambition and a desire to continuously develop your commercial skill set.
• Excitement about helping build something new rather than simply following an established playbook.
• Strong communication skills in both German and English.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue Operations and Sales Leadership to improve pipeline generation and conversion.
• Use modern sales technology, AI-powered tools and data-driven insights to work effectively and continuously improve performance.

We're looking for ambitious Senior Business Development Representatives who are part of building DataGuard's outbound and pipeline generation motion from the ground up.

As one of our first dedicated BDRs, you'll work closely with Account Executives, Marketing and Revenue Operations to create new business opportunities through a combination of strategic outbound prospecting, account-based engagement and marketing-generated opportunities. You'll have the chance to influence how we approach pipeline generation, test new ideas, and help shape a scalable sales development function.
