Job summary

DataGuard is seeking ambitious Business Development Representatives to help build and scale our outbound pipeline. As one of the first dedicated BDRs, you will collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing and Revenue Operations to create new business opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting and account-based engagement.

You will influence how we approach pipeline generation, test new ideas, and help shape a scalable sales development function while working across a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Initial experience in a BDR, SDR, Sales Development, Inside Sales or similar customer-facing commercial role.
• Confidence engaging with prospects and building meaningful business conversations.
• Curiosity, coachability and a genuine interest in SaaS, technology and modern sales.
• A structured, proactive working style with a strong sense of ownership.
• Resilience, ambition and a desire to continuously develop your commercial skill set.

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, account-based engagement and creative prospecting strategies.
• Research target accounts, identify buying signals and create meaningful conversations with decision-makers.
• Help shape and continuously improve DataGuard's sales development motion, messaging and prospecting approaches.
• Qualify opportunities and work closely with Account Executives to ensure high-quality handovers.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue Operations and Sales Leadership to improve pipeline generation and conversion.
• Use modern sales technology, AI-powered tools and data-driven insights to work effectively and continuously improve performance.

We're looking for ambitious Business Development Representatives who are part of building DataGuard's outbound and pipeline generation motion from the ground up.

As one of our first dedicated BDRs, you'll work closely with Account Executives, Marketing and Revenue Operations to create new business opportunities through a combination of strategic outbound prospecting, account-based engagement and marketing-generated opportunities. You'll have the chance to influence how we approach pipeline generation, test new ideas, and help shape a scalable sales development function.
