Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to drive requirements elicitation, process modeling, and Agile delivery. You will translate business needs into user stories and specifications while collaborating across product teams and vendors.

The role emphasizes process improvement, documentation standards, and supporting testing activities, including UAT coordination and post-deployment adoption. Strong BPMN skills are required, with a Bachelor’s degree as a baseline.

• Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions, process discovery workshops, and stakeholder interviews
• Gather, document, analyze, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories, requirements documentation, and technical specifications
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies
• Clarify requirements during estimation, planning, and delivery activities
• Produce requirements deliverables including process flows, use cases, user stories, mockups, and supporting documentation
• Develop business cases and support project prioritization
• Facilitate current-state and future-state process mapping
• Lead workshops to identify process pain points, bottlenecks, workarounds, decision points, and handoffs
• Document and analyze processes using BPMN and value stream mapping
• Develop streamlined future-state processes and recommend simplification, standardization, and optimization
• Support enterprise transformation, process redesign, and continuous improvement
• Establish consistent process documentation standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, architects, product teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements reviews
• Support project planning by evaluating business needs, system impacts, and implementation considerations
• Develop expertise in core applications, systems, and technical platforms
• Plan, facilitate, and execute system, functional, and User Acceptance Testing
• Develop and maintain test plans, scenarios, and cases
• Coordinate business testing participation and assist with issue resolution
• Support implementation and post-deployment adoption activities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience required
• Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews, discovery workshops, and requirements gathering sessions
• Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and functional requirements
• Experience working within Agile environments and collaborating closely with development teams
• Experience leading process improvement, process mapping, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Experience supporting testing, quality assurance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
• Proficiency in business process modeling and mapping, including current-state and future-state process design
• Experience with BPMN, workflow documentation, and value stream mapping methodologies
• Strong understanding of Agile practices, requirements management, and software development life cycles (SDLC)
• Experience with test planning, test case development, execution, and UAT coordination
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps, process mapping tools, and collaboration platforms
• Bachelor's degree required; combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
• BPMN certification preferred, but not required
