What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems for the Medical SaaS platform using Java and Kotlin
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration with frontend applications and other services
• Manage databases, including PostgreSQL and NoSQL platforms, optimizing data models and query performance
• Integrate AWS S3 and Elasticsearch for storage and data retrieval, managing deployment processes with Docker and Helm charts
• Collaborate with product management, DevOps, QA teams, and cross-functional teams to discuss requirements and drive project success

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a backend software engineer with hands‑on expertise in Java and Kotlin
• Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs with a focus on security best practices
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and experience with NoSQL platforms
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; German is preferred
