Merz Therapeutics is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Transformation Manager for a 2-year fixed-term position. You will drive transformation activities across implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization, coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure successful delivery.

English fluency is required; German is a plus. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders across IT and business units, managing risks, and supporting steering and deployment efforts in a global pharma

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English; German a plus.

Please note: This is a 2-year fixed-term position

As our SAP S/4HANA Transformation Manager, you will be part of a CFO-sponsored transformation program and contribute to one of the most significant business transformation initiatives at Merz Therapeutics.

Working alongside the internal Project Manager, you will act as a key counterpart on SAP and implementation-related topics and help ensure the successful delivery of the program.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Drive SAP transformation-related activities throughout the implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization phases of the program.
• Act as a key counterpart to the external implementation partner on SAP transformation, delivery, and implementation-related topics.
• Work closely with the internal Project Manager to ensure alignment across business stakeholders, IT, Group functions, and external project teams.
• Drive alignment between project activities, business requirements, and implementation priorities.
• Coordinate and support testing activities across the program, including business readiness, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and deployment preparation.
• Monitor project progress, dependencies, and critical milestones throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Assess the impact of changes, decisions, and implementation challenges on overall project delivery.
• Contribute to effective risk, issue, and dependency management across the program.
• Support project steering, deployment, and stabilization activities through practical SAP transformation experience.

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience in SAP transformation environments; experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Experience in transformation management, program management, deployment management, or comparable roles within large-scale international transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience supporting testing, deployment, and stabilization activities within SAP implementation programs.
• Strong understanding of SAP-enabled business processes and their impact on organizational change and business operations.
• Ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders, technical experts, and external implementation partners.
• Ability to combine attention to detail with a broader view of program objectives, dependencies, risks, and business impact.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English language skills are required; German language skills are considered an advantage.
• International transformation experience is desirable; experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries is a plus.
