Zusammenfassung

A leading global manufacturer of flavors and extracts is seeking a Sales Support Coordinator in Geesthacht, Germany. In this role, you will handle customer inquiries, maintain relationships, and assist the Sales Manager with various tasks. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor degree, experience in customer service, and strong communication skills. Fluency in English and another European language is essential.

The Sales Support Coordinator addresses customers requests, specifically related to pre- and after support around orders. The Sales Support Coordinator works cooperatively with sales and or other members of the distribution team to satisfy and intensify existing customers relationships and to increase customer satisfaction. In addition, he/she assists the Sales Manager in all kind of commercial duties and projects with increasing responsibility. This role is designed to start into a Sales career at Sensient.

What you'll do:

  • Provide timely reply to customer inquiries, (e.g. on quotation, pricing, leadtime, product availability)
  • Provide product related standard documentation.
  • Maintain communication on all customer related topics with Account Managers
  • Perform different projects to streamline processes and support the Sales Team.
  • Support order management when information on customer orders need clarification.
  • Routinely monitor open orders to ensure timely shipment.
  • Managing of distribution platforms

What you'll bring:

  • A Bachelor Degree or successful passed a German apprenticeship in Economics, a Degree in Food Science or comparable area
  • Professional experience in Customer Service/ Sales Assistant, work experience in the food ingredients or pharmaceutical industry are an advantage
  • Knowledge of required documentation and logistics for exports
  • Very good skills in English and another European language (fluent in spoken and written), Italian or French preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks in an effective manner
  • Excellent communication skills, experience in working both autonomously as well as in a team
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, extensive experience in dealing within an ERP system, e.g. Oracle or SAP
