Sales Associate – Detection and SPE products (m/f/d)

12 months temporary contract.

What you will do

In this cross-functional European role you will support Tecan’s mission and growth plans in line with our global Life Science Business (LSB) strategy by actively supporting sales pipeline generation for Tecan products. Main activities include prospection, lead generation and lead qualification.

Responsibilities will include

• Conduct regular prospecting and appointment setting activities.
• Contribute to lead generation efforts for products in focus.
• Continue with proper lead qualification.
• Liaise with the sales team to move the sales pipeline from leads to opportunities.

What you bring along

• Master’s degree or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related relevant discipline.
• Prior exposure to wet lab basic techniques and/or analytical ones.
• No prior sales experience needed - willingness to learn and a “sales” mindset a must.
• Prior exposure to analytical instruments, life science instrumentation and/or laboratory automation is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken).
• Fluency in English is a must; French or German in addition brings a special advantage, but any other EU language is a plus.
• Decent command of Microsoft Office 365.
