Ein Hotel an der Ostsee sucht einen Empfangsleiter (m/w/d), der das Empfangsteam leitet und für einen reibungslosen Ablauf an der Rezeption sorgt. Der ideale Kandidat verfügt über einschlägige Berufserfahrung, Kommunikationsstärke sowie Führungsqualitäten. Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung an einer großen Hotelrezeption.
• Mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung in der Führung kleiner Teams.
• Deutschkenntnisse auf C1-Niveau.

Aufgaben

• Sicherstellen des reibungslosen Ablaufs an der Hotelrezeption.
• Leiten des Empfangsteams und Erstellen von Dienstplänen.
• Aktive Mitarbeit im Tagesgeschäft.
• Erstellen von Berichten und Vertretung des Logistikmanagements.
• Überwachung der Kennzahlen und Umsetzung von Maßnahmen.
• Ausbildung von Trainees und neuen Teammitgliedern.

Overview

Opened in 1971, Hotel NEPTUN is an employer with many years of experience. We employ over 240 staff (m/f/d) and more than 60 trainees from over 20 different countries. Of these, more than 50 employees have been working at Hotel NEPTUN for over 25 years.

Your workplace

The Hotel NEPTUN is a very special place in Warnemünde and is characterised by its direct location on the beach. We are a team that couldn't be more diverse: from old hands to youngsters. Everyone brings their own strengths to the table. Our 10-strong reception team is looking for a new reception manager with immediate effect.

Main tasks

• You will ensure that everything runs smoothly at our hotel reception
• You will lead the reception team, create duty rosters and accompany job interviews
• You will be actively involved in day-to-day operations
• You create reports and represent the logistics management in the daily meetings when you are absent
• You always keep an eye on the key performance indicators and implement measures derived accordingly for the front office
• You supervise our trainee hotel managers and students, train new team members and train existing employees
• You will coordinate internal issues with neighbouring departments

What you bring with you

• You have successfully completed vocational training in the hotel industry, a bachelor's degree with a focus on tourism or a comparable qualification
• You have at least three years of relevant professional experience in a large hotel reception area
• You have at least two years of experience in managing small teams
• You have an exemplary way of expressing yourself, communication is your strength and your written and spoken German is at C1 level
• You are a host at heart and have a well-groomed appearance
• You are confident in using standard MS Office solutions and have advanced knowledge of hotel booking and management systems, ideally Fidelio Suite8
• A discreet way of working is a matter of course for you
• You are always able to cope with situations where guests require a high level of advice
