In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating strategic programs and projects. The position comprises approximately 50% responsibilities within BU Microsystems & Photonics and 50% responsibilities within the Site Project Management Office (PMO). You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, management, and external partners to support the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Your Role

Business Development Activities / Management of Highly Complex Programs

• Plan, initiate, and coordinate programs consisting of business development activities as well as related technology transfer and supply chain implementation projects
• Maintain program schedules, prioritize activities, monitor progress, prepare reports, and manage escalations
• Coordinate collaboration and interfaces with relevant internal teams and external partners
• Manage internal and external communication as well as stakeholder relationships
• Lead, coordinate, and motivate project teams to ensure successful project execution

Reporting and Preparation of Strategic Decisions

• Identify, assess, and manage project and business risks
• Contribute to the business unit roadmap and business development strategy; prepare strategic decision proposals
• Evaluate the business case for investments within the business area and support continuous program optimization

Your Profile

• Master's degree, Diploma, or PhD in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Engineering, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Operations Management, or a comparable field
• Several years of relevant professional experience in project, program, or PMO management, ideally within an industrial or high‑tech environment
• Proven experience in coordinating complex cross‑functional projects and managing stakeholders across different organizational levels
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills combined with excellent organizational and planning abilities
• Structured, independent, and solution‑oriented working style with a high level of initiative
• Experience in risk, schedule, and resource management as well as management reporting
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Ability to present complex topics in a clear and audience‑oriented manner
• Experience with project management methodologies and common PM tools
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
