Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. is seeking a Product/Project Manager to lead development initiatives in a high-tech environment.

The role focuses on coordinating R&D activities, planning work packages, and guiding interdisciplinary teams to meet scope, cost, and schedule targets. The candidate should have a strong background in physics or engineering, proven experience in managing complex development projects, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration without formal disciplinary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a degree program in physics, mechanical engineering, precision engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable field.
• Experience with the workflow of development projects in a high-tech environment.
• Experience managing development projects and applying product development processes.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary teams without disciplinary authority.

Responsibilities

• Project management for product development or major technology development initiatives.
• Serving as R&D and Technology Coordinator in accordance with Q-PEP.
• Project planning with regard to work packages, costs, and timelines.
• Organizing and leading interdisciplinary teams.
• Contributing to the development of technical concepts.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, costs, and schedules; project documentation and reporting.
• Representing the project team and its results both internally and to the customer.
• Ensuring that assembly and joining technologies, as well as testing equipment, are available on time and within budget; handing over documentation to production.
• Initiating problem-solving measures and task forces in the event of urgent issues in the development project.
