Job summary

VON DER HEYDEN Human Capital is seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) in Munich to own executive searches from market mapping to outreach and closing. You will collaborate with founders, CEOs, and investors, guiding them through multi-mandate projects while leading a small team and leveraging AI to improve sourcing and reporting.

You bring 2–5 years of client-facing experience, a strong business degree, and fluency in German and English, with a hunter mentality and a track record of delivering

• 2–5 years in a fast-paced, client-facing role (consulting, Founders Associate / Chief of Staff, executive search, venture building, VC/PE or B2B sales).
• A track record of results with clients won and projects delivered.
• Hunter mentality with structure: juggle multiple mandates and nothing falls through the cracks.
• AI-savvy: use AI to work smarter and bring the team along.
• Confidence with senior people and the empathy to build relationships that last.
• First experience leading projects or small teams.
• Strong business degree; fluent German and English.

Responsibilities

• Own mandates end to end: from market analysis and target companies to outreach, interviews, offer and signing, backed by Directors and Moritz.
• Be the founder's sparring partner: align with CEOs and investors on who they really need and guide them through the process.
• Run several searches at once and lead a small project team of Associates.
• Lead with AI: use AI-powered sourcing, research and reporting to run faster, sharper searches.
• Spot the next mandate: keep an eye on opportunities to grow existing clients and win new ones.
