Your Future Role

2,000 colleagues shape in Salzgitter the future of green mobility. They design and manufacture hydrogen and electric-powered vehicles, locomotives, andtrams, produce bogies, and repair all kinds of freight wagons.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the systems purchasing department with strong technical and professional guidance
  • Manage supplier relationships and drive negotiation processes
  • Coordinate and oversee supplier inquiries to ensure timely and accurate responses
  • Measure and evaluate supplier and procurement performance using KPIs
  • Identify, develop, and implement cost‑reduction opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional departments
  • Contribute proactively to projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Completed degree in business administration or a related field
  • Very good knowledge of purchasing in an industrial company or comparable environment
  • Good technical understanding and process knowledge in procurement
  • Determination, ability to work in a team and flexibility
  • Good MS Office and IT skills
  • Willingness to travel
