Description:
As a postdoctoral fellow at one of Europe’s leading university hospitals, the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), you will have the opportunity to independently pursue a research project in the field of ‘Translational Neuroimmunology’ and thus lay the foundation for a successful career in academic medicine.
The Institute of Neurimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis (INIM S) focuses on the immunological dysregulation (Med. 2021 Mar 12;2(3):296-312.e8.), the neurobiological consequences (Cell. 2025 Aug 21;188(17):4567-4585.e32.) and personalized treatment (Med. 2024 Jun 14;5(6):550-558.e2.) of neuroinflammatory diseases such as multiple sclerosis and, in cooperation with the Clinic and Polyclinic for Neurology, on clinical care and research (Mult Scler. 2025 Sep;31(10):1231-1242.). The working language in the laboratories is English.
This position is initially limited to three years as part of a third-party funded project and can also be filled by part-time staff. The position is to be filled immediately.
