Job summary

American IT Systems is seeking an experienced PMO consultant for an EU-wide role. The position allows German speakers across the EU to work remotely.

The PMO will support the internal project leadership team with governance, reporting, and interface management for SAP/Windchill interfaces and related tasks. You will drive integrated planning, governance meeting facilitation, and structured reporting across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of PMO/Project Management/Program Management experience in complex international IT environments.
• Proven cross-functional stakeholder management experience.
• Experience supporting governance boards, steering committees, and executive reporting.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• German working proficiency; fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

Job description

We have a new role in EU. German speakers across EU can work, remote work is fine. Rate will be around.

The contractor shall provide an experienced PMO consultant who supports the internal project leadership team in the organizational management of the

SAP/Windchill Interface

Task Force.

Project Planning and Progress Tracking

The PMO shall perform the following activities:

• Develop, maintain, and continuously update the integrated project plan.
• Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical activities.
• Consolidate progress information across all participating teams.
• Identify schedule deviations and raise them to the internal project leadership.
• Maintain transparency regarding project status and delivery progress.
• Maintain action and milestone tracking mechanisms.

Deliverables

• Integrated project plan
• Milestone tracking report
• Consolidated project status overview
• Action tracker

Governance, Meeting Organization, and Facilitation

The PMO shall support the governance structure of the Task Force by:

• Preparing, organizing, and facilitating regular project and governance meetings.
• Preparing meeting agendas in alignment with the internal project leadership.
• Moderating recurring project meetings and workshops.
• Documenting discussions, decisions, risks, issues, and action items.
• Preparing and distributing meeting minutes.
• Maintaining action and open-item registers.
• Tracking open topics as part of the overall project status consolidation.

Project Reporting and Management Communication

The PMO shall establish and maintain a structured reporting framework.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of regular project status reports.
• Preparation of management presentations and communication materials.
• Support for Steering Committee reporting.
• Preparation of executive summaries.
• Maintenance of KPI, risk, issue, and action dashboards.
• Preparation of decision support materials and management briefings.
• Consolidation of project metrics and status information from all participating workstreams.

Risk, Issue, and Action Management

The PMO shall establish and maintain project governance mechanisms related to risks and issues.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the project Risk Register and Issue Log.
• Recording newly identified risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
• Coordinating the follow-up of mitigation actions with designated internal Single Points of Contact.
• Tracking agreed actions through to completion.
• Providing consolidated reporting on project risks and issues.
• Ensuring transparent documentation and status tracking.

Stakeholder and Interface Coordination

The PMO shall support organizational coordination between all involved stakeholders and project teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating communication and information flow between SAP, Windchill, Middleware, Business, and Service teams.
• Working primarily through designated internal Single Points of Contact where possible.
• Escalating relevant information and status updates to the internal project leadership.
• Organizing workshops, alignment sessions, and cross-functional meetings.
• Ensuring transparency and consistency of communication across all participating organizations.
• Consolidating information from stakeholders and project teams.

Required Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

Minimum five years of experience in PMO, Project Management, or Program Management roles within complex international IT environments.

Proven experience in cross-functional stakeholder management.

Experience supporting governance boards, steering committees, and executive reporting.

Strong facilitation and communication skills.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Working proficiency in German.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and project planning tools.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are considered advantageous:

• Experience with IT programs and transformation initiatives.
• Experience with SAP and PLM (preferably PTC Windchill), preferably PTC Windchill.
• Experience with enterprise integration and interface projects.
• Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Experience supporting global transformation or modernization programs.
• Strong background in risk and issue management.
