The opportunity:

During the night shift, you are responsible for ensuring that the hotel operates safely, smoothly, and professionally.

For the Bülow Palais and the Bülow Residenz in Dresden, we are looking for a responsible night auditor who can work independently during the night, make decisions, and serve as a reliable point of contact for guests and external parties.

In this role, you will combine meticulous work during the night audit shift with a high level of responsibility for service and security. You will also ensure that everything runs smoothly until the morning shift begins.

Your role:

As a Night Auditor, you are responsible for all hotel operations during the night shift. You combine meticulous attention to detail in night audit work with a high degree of personal responsibility, a service-oriented mindset, and strong decision‑making skills.

You act as an extension of the Front Office Manager or General Manager and ensure that our guests feel safe, well cared for, and welcome even at night.

Main areas of responsibility:

Night Audit & Administration

• Independently conducting the daily night audit
• Monitoring and reconciling daily sales figures for all departments
• Performing the daily closing process in PMS and generating relevant reports

Guest Services & Front Office (Night Shift)

• Check-in and check-out for our guests during the night
• Professional handling of guest requests, questions, and complaints
• Independent service recovery within the established decision‑making framework

Responsibility & Safety

• Overall responsibility for hotel operations during the night shift
• Conducting security and inspection rounds
• Assessing situations and taking appropriate action
• Coordination with external agencies (e.g., security services, police, fire department) as needed

Handover & Communication

• Documentation of Special Incidents
• Thorough handover to the early shift and front office management
