Zusammenfassung

Mynaric AG is seeking a hands-on, data-driven planner to ensure uninterrupted production by translating demand into timely material availability from raw materials to finished goods. You will coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Quality to maintain BOM accuracy and optimize inventory while driving supplier performance.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong data discipline, and proficiency with SAP S4/Hana and MES systems.

We are looking for a hands-on, data-driven planner who thrives in fast-moving hardware manufacturing organizations, can read a BOM, question and challenge lead times, and relentlessly drives the plan to green. You ensure uninterrupted production by translating demand into timely, accurate material availability from raw materials to finished goods using ERP/MRP, tight supplier coordination, and proactive risk management. You are the control tower for material flow across engineering, supply chain, production, and quality.

What awaits you at Mynaric

• Own end-to-end material readiness for assigned product lines: plan, and track POs; expedite/defers as needed; prevent/resolve shortages in close coordination with Commodity Buyers.
• Convert demand (forecasts, production schedules, NPI builds) into executable supply plans in ERP/MRP; maintain accurate parameters (lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks, min/max).
• Identify long lead items and initiate advanced procurements of such items - providing the Advanced Material Demand if at-risk buys are authorized by upper management, and advocating for the AMDs when needed.
• Drive supplier performance (OTD, lead time adherence, risk mitigation); escalates and run recovery plans for late/at-risk parts.
• Manage BOM changes and engineering updates (ECNs/ECOs) to avoid BOM inaccuracy. Involve and flow down BOM changes to the Commodity Buyers.
• Support NPIs and ramp-ups: align evolving BOMs, proto/bridge builds, and capacity with operations and engineering.
• Optimize inventory (days of supply, turns) while meeting service levels; propose parameter changes and pull systems (Kanban/JIT) where appropriate.
• Monitor and communicate material status to stakeholders; run shortage/commit reports and daily meetings.
• Maintain clean master data and transact accurately ensuring system matches physical flow.
• Ensure that supplier selection is done by SCM as much as possible and not by engineering - getting involved with each Engineer and ensuring they are involved from the beginning of the supplier engagement.

What you bring with you

• Extensive experience in cross-functional project management between Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams
• Experience running meetings for material status in order to begin R&D production as well as Serial Production.
• Robust technical experience managing requirements discussions between Suppliers, Engineers, and Buyers - ability to learn to read any drawing
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet tools and keen attention to data accuracy and organization.
• Profound knowledge in ERP systems such as SAP S4/Hana, in combination with an MES system for Shopfloor execution. Comfortable with multi-level BOMs.
• Demonstrated supplier management and expediting experience; strong prioritization under time pressure.
• Proven record of preventing and recovering from shortages while meeting build schedules.
• Business Fluent in English, both written and spoken, round up your profile. German is a plus.
