Zusammenfassung

Mynaric is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) in Munich to design and validate assemblies for advanced optical communication terminals. You will own the life-cycle models, perform tolerancing, and verify system dimensions while interfacing with manufacturing teams and suppliers.

You will contribute to technical documentation, GD&T calculations, and simple strength/modal analyses. The role is office-based in Munich with exciting, global projects.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 2–5 years' experience in the design of optomechanical systems.
• Knowledge of design principles and tolerance analysis.
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to build and test your own designs.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and serial production.
• Solid understanding of GD&T.
• Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software and PLM systems, ideally Siemens Teamcenter/NX.
• Results-oriented and proactive with independent work style.
