Job summary

Blackwave GmbH is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and optimise metal liner production. You will scale production, automate processes, and drive quality and efficiency, turning challenges into production-ready solutions.

The role requires a degree in engineering, hands-on manufacturing experience, and the ability to transfer new processes into production. On-site in Garching near Munich with shift support as needed; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering related to manufacturing or production.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and process engineering.
• Experience transferring processes from development to production.
• Willingness to support shift operations if required.

You own the continuous improvement of our liner manufacturing processes. You drive scalability, automation, quality, and efficiency. You make sure new products are transferred into production quickly and reliably.

YOUR PROFILE

Must-Haves

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related field
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or process engineering with a strong interest in metal processing
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and production environments
• Experience in research & development and transferring new processes into production
• Independent, self-driven, and motivated by improving manufacturing rather than purely product design
• English (B2/C1 minimum); German is an advantage
• 100% on-site in Garching with willingness to support shift operations if required

Nice to have

• Metal processing and Welding experience
• Lean Manufacturing and Quality Management experience
