Zusammenfassung

Blackwave GmbH seeks a process mastermind to scale aerospace manufacturing into serial production at our Munich-area sites (Garching and Taufkirchen). You will coordinate production engineering across teams, set priorities on open issues, and drive processes to be scalable, resilient, and ramp-up ready.

You bring a space-to-automotive mindset, lean and CI expertise, and strong root-cause capabilities, along with fluent German and English. On-site presence is required.

Qualifikationen

• Space-to-Automotive mindset to translate space sensitivity into robust, scalable manufacturing processes.
• Lean & CI methods knowledge: Kaizen, SMED, 5S to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Risk management: identify production risks early and plan mitigations.
• Root-cause mastery: structured problem solving (5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA).
• Cross-functional communication to align Planning, Engineering, QA, and Management.
• Hands-on shopfloor approach to solve problems with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and operators.
• Comfort with complexity and rapid change; balance immediate needs with long-term improvements.
• Act as a change agent for new tech, equipment and processes.

• Maintain a structured, up-to-date list of open points across all production steps.
• Set the standards: implement 5S at workstations and material handling.
• Push fixture and tooling improvements from concept through manufacturing and verification.
• Coordinate stakeholders when scoping new machines to ensure performance meets requirements.

Systematically analyze production processes for scalability and robustness – then actively raise the bar.

Set the Standards

Implement 5S standards at workstations and in material handling – consistently and sustainably.

Pushfixtureand tooling improvements from concept through manufacturing, implementation, and verification.

Machine Performance

Coordinate stakeholders and engineers when scoping new machines, ensuring performance reliably meets requirements.

YOUR PROFILE

• Space-to-Automotive Mindset: you understand the sensitivity of the space industry and translate it into robust, scalable manufacturing processes
• Lean & CI Methods: proven experience with Kaizen, SMED, 5S, and related tools to improve throughput, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement
• Risk Management: identify production risks early, develop mitigation plans, and support successful production ramp-ups
• Root Cause Mastery:experienced in structured problem-solving methods such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and FMEA, turning production issues into sustainable corrective actions
• Cross-functional Communicator: translate shopfloor realities into clear inputs for Planning, Engineering, QA, and Management while keeping stakeholders aligned
