Job summary

Webasto SE sucht einen Manufacturing Engineer Batteries (f/m/x) in Deutschland. Sie unterstützen die Fertigungsprozesse von Hochvolt-Batteriesystemen, führen Kaizen-Workshops durch und erstellen relevante Produktionsdokumentationen.

Sie arbeiten eng in einem interdisziplinären Team, planen Industrialisierungsmaßnahmen und wirken bei Investitions- und Zeitberechnungen mit. Eine abgeschlossene Universitätsausbildung, idealerweise Maschinenbau, sowie Erfahrung im Automobilumfeld runden das Profil

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium, idealerweise Maschinenbau.
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Fertigungsingenieurwesen in der Automobilzulieferindustrie.
• Gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift; Englischkenntnisse sind vorteilhaft.
• Kenntnisse MTM oder REFA wünschenswert.

Responsibilities

• Unterstützung und kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Fertigungsprozesse für Hochvolt-Batteriesysteme.
• Tägliches Shopfloor-Management und Kaizen-Workshops.
• Dokumentation von Produktions- und Projektmanagementunterlagen.
• Planung und Umsetzung von Maßnahmen im Industrialisierungskontext.
• Interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit im Kernprojektteam.
• Mitwirkung bei Beschaffungsprozessen, Berechnung von Fertigungszeiten und Investitionen.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Support and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems for high-voltage battery systems to ensure and improve costs, quality, and ergonomics
• Daily shop floor management and conducting improvement workshops according to the Kaizen philosophy
• Document creation for production, planning, and project management (process flow diagrams, P-FMEA, manufacturability assessments, work instructions, process parameter lists, defect collection cards, equipment inspections, maintenance documents, and risk and hazard assessments)
• Planning and implementation of measures for manufacturing processes and systems within the scope of industrialization, change management, or optimizations
• Interdisciplinary teamwork in a core project team with representatives from project management, manufacturing, quality, logistics, development, and controlling
• Participation in acquisition processes, calculation of manufacturing times, and investments for systems and manufacturing processes for high-voltage battery systems

This is what you bring to us:

• Successfully completed university studies, preferably in mechanical engineering, and several years of professional experience in the field of manufacturing engineering in the automotive/supplier industry and the processes of the automotive industry
• High level of assertiveness and decision-making ability
• A very high level of teamwork, independence, commitment, and flexibility, as well as a goal-oriented, structured, and method-based approach to work
• Very good German language skills, good English language skills in both spoken and written form (communication skills – presentation, moderation)
• Basic knowledge of MTM or REFA
