What you can expect

• As Junior Project Manager (Consultant) you work collaboratively with your project team to develop solutions for complex operational and strategic problem statements in OTTO Payments and may also support implementation depending on project.
• You support the team and take responsibility for project modules, e.g., drafting audit assignments, preparing decision documents, or moderating workshops with top management.
• You work in cross‑functional teams on projects and audits – variety and direct proximity to corporate decisions are part of the job.
• In addition, you support the Corporate Development Team with internal and external activities (e.g., procurement/ contract management, market activities).

What we are looking for

• You have a good university degree (minimum Bachelor) and first professional experience in consulting or corporate strategy.
• Analytical and conceptual strength, combined with structured and solution‑oriented approach describes your working style.
• You have strong team orientation and enthusiasm to motivate others and achieve results together.
• You possess very high self‑motivation, performance readiness and openness, showing your communication strength regardless of hierarchy levels.
• Affinity for agile working and topics in the payments area is preferred.
• Preferably you already have basic knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., ZAG, BAIT, MaRisk, PSD2, GWG, EBA guidelines, DSGVO, etc.).
• First experience in e‑commerce or payments environment is a plus.
