Job summary

Infineon Technologies serves as a global leader in semiconductor solutions and is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist – Distribution Center Europe to coordinate shipments, interface with warehouse and transport providers, and ensure timely outbound processing across Europe.

You will support projects, analyze data, and develop AI-enabled improvements, using SAP and MS Office in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to keep supply chains reliable, green, and cost-efficient.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services or a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field.
• Several years of professional experience in freight forwarding and logistics environments.
• Experience with freight forwarders and transportation companies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Strong organizational talent with solid administrative capabilities.
• Results-oriented team player with strong self-management skills.
• Basic to advanced AI skills, including prompt engineering and/or coding skills (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA).

Responsibilities

• Communication interface between warehouse service providers, transportation providers, and Infineon internal stakeholders worldwide.
• Manage shipment prioritization, cancellation, deletion, and hold requests and ensure execution by the warehouse service provider.
• Ensure timely outbound processing of delivery notes and priority goods receipts with the warehouse provider.
• Handle and monitor emergency shipments, including arranging special transportation services.
• Support projects within the area of responsibility.
• Report activities related to defined responsibilities.
• Manage various project and analytical tasks.
• AI development related to assigned responsibilities.

• Several years of professional experience in freight forwarding and logistics environments within manufacturing companies or service organizations
• Experience working with freight forwarders and transportation companies
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Strong organizational talent with solid administrative capabilities
• Results-oriented team player with strong self-management skills
• Quick learner with a high commitment to quality
• Basic to advanced AI skills, including prompt engineering and/or coding skills (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA) for automation, analytics, and continuous process improvement
