ABOUT THE ROLE:

Talon.One is looking for an experienced Legal Operations Manager to help build and shape our legal operations function from the ground up. As the first person in this role, you will be instrumental in establishing and refining the processes, tools, and strategies that will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal team. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on the growth of our legal function while working closely with key business leaders to align legal operations with Talon.One’s broader business goals.

You’ll be responsible for streamlining and optimizing legal workflows, implementing legal tech solutions, and ensuring that both the legal team and the business are empowered to make informed, strategic decisions. In this role, you will focus on improving communication, feedback, and collaboration between the Legal team and business stakeholders, making legal knowledge more accessible, and ensuring that legal support is faster, easier, and more effective.

As a trusted partner to both the legal and go‑to‑market teams, you will play a central role in fostering collaboration, driving process improvements, and building stronger relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

You will be joining a small, and highly driven Legal team at Talon.One, currently consisting of two dedicated professionals and growing. We work closely together, tackling complex legal challenges while supporting the broader company’s objectives. As we continue to scale, there will be significant opportunities to grow the team, and you’ll play a central role in shaping its evolution.

In this collaborative environment, you’ll work not just with the legal team, but also with cross‑functional teams across the company.

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

• Optimize Legal Workflows: Streamline and refine legal processes to improve efficiency within the Legal team
• Implement Legal Technology: Lead the adoption of legal tech solutions to drive automation and productivity
• Knowledge & Communication Management: Create accessible legal knowledge bases, and foster strategic communication across teams.
• Simplify Legal Knowledge: Make legal information more accessible and understandable for non‑legal teams
• Standardize Ways of Working: Align and establish consistent processes across the Legal function for better integration with the business
• Foster Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Play a pivotal role in enhancing cross‑department collaboration and driving faster, more effective legal support

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Law, Information Management, or related fields
• 3+ years of experience in legal operations, corporate communications, project management, knowledge management, or sales enablement
• Experience in a legal department or law firm is a plus, especially if working directly with General Counsel or Heads of Legal
• Strong project management skills and the ability to execute initiatives from start to finish
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with ability to manage multiple fast‑paced environments
• Experience with the following tools is a strong plus: Contract Lifecycle Management Tools (Ironclad), Notion, Slack
