Job summary

T-Systems International GmbH is seeking a Lead SAP Consultant for Cash & Payments across multiple German cities including Berlin, Bonn, Dresden, and more. The role emphasizes advisory work, solution design, and leadership in public-sector SAP projects with S/4HANA Finance expertise.

You will drive end-to-end cash and payments processes, coordinate with SAP consulting, development and Application Management teams, and support workshops and customer presentations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP consulting experience with a focus on cash and payments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and modern financial architectures.
• Experience in public-sector SAP projects and Application Management is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Advise public-sector customers on SAP-based financial processes focused on cash and payments.
• Analyse complex business requirements and translate them into end-to-end solution concepts.

You will combine in-depth SAP expertise with a strong understanding of the specific requirements of public administrations. The role focuses on cash, payment and related financial processes.As Lead Consultant, you will take on challenging advisory work and responsibility for solution design and subject-matter leadership. You will also play an important part in developing junior colleagues in cash and payments. Your responsibilities will include:Advising public-sector customers on the design, optimization and transformation of their SAP-based financial processes, with a focus on cash and paymentsAnalyzing complex business and technical requirements and turning them into robust end-to-end solution conceptsTaking responsibility for solution design and ensuring that cash and payment processes are integrated with the wider SAP landscapeDesigning solutions for processes such as payment processing, receivables management, open items and cash desk operationsSupporting SAP projects through multiple phases—from gathering and assessing business requirements through design and implementation to testing and go-live—as well as providing support through Application ManagementProviding subject-matter leadership to consultants and other experts on complex customer projectsCoordinating collaboration between business teams, SAP consulting, development, Application Management and other project stakeholdersFacilitating workshops and confidently presenting solution concepts to customers, project leads and managementContributing to the ongoing development of our solutions, methods and best practices for SAP Public SectorYour profileYou have several years of consulting experience and at least 5–7 years of hands-on SAP experience, with a focus on cash and payment processes. You also have SAP S/4HANA Finance expertise, including in-depth knowledge of modern financial architectures and proven implementation experience.
