Jobbeschreibung

We are looking for a highly skilled Key Account Manager for DACH with strong experience in the ophthalmology sector and the ability to sell complex technical products.

This role requires a combination of deep product understanding, hands-on field sales, relationship building, and strong closing abilities.

You will directly contribute to Custom Surgical’s growth by engaging clinics and hospitals, conducting demos, and guiding customers toward the best imaging solution for their needs.

Tasks
  • Develop, own, and execute the sales strategy for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland);
  • Identify and engage ophthalmology clinics, hospitals, and key opinion leaders;
  • Conduct on-site demos of Custom Surgical products, explaining technical aspects clearly and confidently;
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain CRM hygiene;
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Support, and Product teams to ensure an excellent customer experience;
  • Understand customer needs deeply and propose the best configuration and solution;
  • Represent Custom Surgical at events, congresses, conferences, and partner visits;

Requirements
  • Fluent German (C1+) and English — this is mandatory;
  • Strong experience in Medical devices, ideally in ophthalmology (clinical, sales, medical devices, or related);
  • Proven track record as a closer in technical or medical device sales;
  • Ability to explain technical products in simple, compelling ways;
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently;
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the DACH region;
  • Based in Munich (preferred) or within the DACH area.
