Job Objectives / Key Accountabilities

• You learn to monitor and control the safe and cost‑efficient technical operation of all assigned vessels using the available resources, within the defined parameters of cost, commercial viability, and operational excellence in line with Owners expectations.
• You help to ensure the effective maintenance of the assigned vessels.
• You stay in close contact with clients and maintain good working relationships with client representatives.
• You will be trained in preparing and executing Drydock activities.
• You perform vessel visits, audits and inspections.
• You overview and authorize necessary expenditures.
• You ensure compliance with environmental compliance policies.

Requirements

The role is open for junior candidates who aim to develop into a Technical Superintendent position.

Education & Work Experience

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent or Chief Engineer’s qualification.

Job Specific Skills

• Strong communication skills, including English language skills.
