Zusammenfassung

CYBEX in Bayreuth is seeking a cybersecurity professional to join our security operations. You will triage alerts, investigate incidents, and help with root-cause analysis in a fast-paced global brand.

You will conduct scans, prioritize risks, support patch deployment, and participate in audits while collaborating with IT teams to embed security into projects. Proficiency in English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, system administration, or a related technical role (internships considered).
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, including networking, operating systems, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Familiarity with security technologies such as Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), SIEM, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, email security, or cloud security platforms.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux administration and basic network troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash is an advantage.
• Understanding of security frameworks and best practices such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, or MITRE ATT&CK.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate technical issues methodically.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings and collaborate across technical teams.
