Job summary

PUMA SE is seeking a design professional in Germany to contribute to the annual product design plan and drive innovative concepts for lifestyle sportswear. You will support the Senior Designer, integrate product and technical developments, and translate brand guidelines into compelling designs.

Requires a design degree and fashion/apparel experience, strong English, and proficiency with Mac/Illustrator/3D in a fast-paced, collaborative environment at a global sports brand.

YOUR MISSION

• Contribute to the formulation of the annual product design plan for the product category and introduce and execute innovative design ideas, to achieve Business targets and product category objectives
• Support the Senior Designer in the execution of innovative product design development aimed at continuous design innovation and achieving set goals
• Integrate product and technical developments into product design
• Contribute to the quality of products’ design content to reinforce and strengthen the brand position and generate consumer demand
• Challenge the global brand positioning guidelines to ensure consideration of new product and program ideas and appropriate modification when necessary
• Under the direction of the Senior Designer/Team head/Creative Director, collect market intelligence, providing all involved with accurate and up-to-date information on design trends and developments and utilizes them effectively
• Launch innovative product design ideas in line with specific product strategies
• Identify functionality requirements and ensure accurate use of information technology systems to gain competitive advantage
• Identify opportunities for design support to improve business processes and enhance customer/consumer intimacy
• Delivery of projects in line with given calendar.

YOUR TALENT

• Bachelor/master's degree in design, Fashion design, or similar education
• First work experience in the Fashion Apparel industry
• Knowledge of lifestyle sports, sports performance & culture, fabrics, and new industry technologies
• Very good feeling for colors & creativity
• PC literate with Apple Mac, Illustrator and 3D
• Knowledge with tech packs and product development
• Strong written and spoken English skills
• Confident presentation skills
