Expert Application and Technology Management (f / m / d)

What awaits you

• Coordination, control, and implementation of z / OS system programming tasks and support for BMC AMI OPs and Control-M system operation.
• Administrative tasks in defined processes such as:

• z / OS: Good knowledge of the z / OS operating system, extensive experience in system operation and troubleshooting.
• BMC AMI Ops: Installation, administration, and operation of the BMC AMI Ops Suite and BMC Auto Operator.

• Automation and monitoring in parallel Sysplex.
• Monitoring, fault detection, and elimination in the infrastructure.
• Incident and problem management, service performance monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
• BMC Control-M: Installation, administration, system operation, and technical consulting.
• Knowledge of z / OS upgrades, maintenance, and dump analysis.
• Communication Server basics: TCPIP, VTAM, PAGENT, including encrypted connections.
• DFSMS / DFSMShsm basics: SMS configuration and disk management.

Service design and build

• Support deployment and development of z / OS and BMC products, considering requirements.
• Implement changes during operation.

Change, problem, and incident management

• Analyze issues, troubleshoot, support, and escalate if needed.
• Systematize errors and initiate improvements.
• Root cause analysis and IT performance management.

Consulting and project work

• Support IT development projects with consulting, testing, and evaluation.
• Develop concepts to modernize the system landscape and operate/shape IT infrastructure.

What you bring

• University degree in IT, telecommunications, banking, or similar, with relevant experience.
